ER309LSi SS MIG WIRE | FEATURES
- ER309LSi is the same as ER309L, except for higher silicon content.
- The higher silicon improves the usability of the filler metal in the gas metal arc welding process.
- If the dilution by the base metal produces a low-ferrite or fully austenitic weld, the crack sensitivity of the weld is somewhat higher than that of lower silicon content weld metal.
- Welding process of ER309LSi SS MIG wire applied to MIG(Metal Inert Gas Welding) or GMAW(Gas Metal Arc Welding).

TYPICAL APPLICATION
- ER309LSi SS MIG wire is used for welding stainless steels, such as 309S and similar base metal.
- Produces weld beads that are exceptionally smooth due to good wetting action. It is a great choice when cosmetic appearance is important.
- Excellent contour of the weld minimizes the need for grinding.
- Exceptionally performs at high wire feed speeds.
