Stainless Steel Submerged Arc Welding Wire

Stainless steel submerged arc welding has the characteristics of high welding productivity, stable welding quality, and good working conditions. Therefore, it has been widely used in many important welding structures, such as boilers, chemical containers, nuclear power, bridges, ships, etc.

We produce Stainless steel submerged arc welding wire with excellent performance. We provide SS submerged arc welding wires that meet the packaging requirements of customers’ markets for various customers worldwide.

Performance of Stainless Steel Submerged Arc Welding Solid Wire

The chemical composition of stainless steel solid wire for submerged arc welding is the same as that of stainless steel solid wire for gas shielded welding. However, due to the Si increasing effect of the flux, the wire with high Si is usually not selected as the submerged arc welding wire. Submerged arc welding stainless steel solid wire specifications, wire size should meet standards. The most commonly used welding wires in production are ф3.2mm and ф4.0mm specifications.

Features of Stainless Steel Submerged Arc Welding

Large penetration depth and high production efficiency. Since a large current can be used, the amount of welding wire melting per unit time is increased, and the production efficiency is significantly improved. The deposition efficiency can reach 8 times of manual welding.

Stable welding quality and beautiful surface. Submerged arc welding adopts a mechanized welding method. Select a matching welding wire / flux combination and adjust the appropriate welding parameters to obtain a high-quality weld with uniform chemical composition, smooth surface and straight. The welding surface quality is better than manual arc welding.

③ Generally only applicable to flat welding and horizontal welding positions.

④ Save welding materials and electricity. Submerged arc automatic welding has strong arc penetration. For a certain thickness of weldment, it can be penetrated without opening. The single-wire submerged arc welding can penetrate 20mm at a time without spatter loss, thereby reducing the welding materials and electrical energy loss.

Improved the working conditions of workers. Mechanized welding reduces the labor intensity of workers. The arc burns under the flux layer, eliminating the harmful effects of arc light and soot on the welder.

Bevel accuracy is high. Because it is a mechanized welding, the requirements on the accuracy of the groove and the clearance of the group are more stringent.
