ER410 SS MIG WIRE | FEATURES

- This 12 Cr alloy (wt,-%) is an airhardening steel.
- Preheat and postweld heat treatments are required to achieve welds of adequate ductility for many engi- neering purposes.
- The most common application is for welding alloys of similar composition. It is also used for deposition of overlays on carbon steels to resist corrosion, erosion, or abrasion.
- Welding process of ER410 SS MIG wire applied to MIG(Metal Inert Gas Welding) or GMAW(Gas Metal Arc Welding).

TYPICAL APPLICATION
- ER410 SS MIG wire is used to weld types 403, 405, 410, and 416 grades of stainless.
- It is also commonly used for welding overlay on carbon steels to resist corrosion, erosion, or abrasion.
- Because this is an air hardening type of material, the joint to be welded should be preheated to 350oF.
